Main Responsibilities
Develop and implement tour packages and itineraries for outbound and inbound tours based on client requirements and market trends.
Research and select vendors, suppliers, and accommodations options to ensure high quality services and competitive pricing.
Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners, including hotels, transportation providers, and local tour operators.
Coordinate all logistics for tours, including transportation, accommodation, sightseeing activities, and any necessary travel documentation.
Communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences, provide recommendations, and handle any inquiries or issues before, during and after the tour.
Manage a team of tour guides, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent customer service and smooth tour operations.
Stay updated on industry developments, travel technologies, and best practices to enhance tour operations and customer satisfaction.
Monitor tour budgets and expenses, ensuring profitability and cost-effective operations.
Plan, organize and execute MICE events, including meetings, conferences, incentive trips, and corporate events, from inception to completion.
Education/Qualifications
Proven experience as a Tour Manager or in a similar role, with a strong background in outbound and inbound tour operations.
In-depth knowledge of travel destinations, attractions, and tourism trends.
Familiarity with booking systems, reservation software, and travel management tools.
Strong negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors and partners.
Problem solving skills to address unexpected situations and provide timely solutions.
Proficient in using computer applications, including MS Office and travel booking platforms.
